The best earplugs available for all your aviation venues. Regular earplugs typically attenuate the sound fairly evenly across the entire frequency spectrum, making for a muddy, dull, uninvolving sound. Obviously this is better than getting permanent hearing damage, but it's actually only the high frequency sounds that cause damage. The Sonic Sound Filters provide about 6dB of attenuation below 1kHz, and then ramp up to about 24dB at 8kHz.
